DISPATCH AUDIO: Fatal Shooting At Sacramento Church, 5 Reportedly Dead

5 Dead At Church of Sacramento, Shooter Dead

Sacramento, California 5:03 PM PST: Sacramento law enforcement agencies were dispatch to 2041 Wyda Way at around 5:03PM PST on reports of a shooter at the Church of Sacramento at Wyda Way & Ethan Way. The 911 caller, identified as the pastor of the church stated someone was in the church shooting, armed with what he described as a 9MM at the time of dispatch. Officers arrived on the scene quickly and stated no shots could be heard at the time of arrival. Dispatch initially broadcast a description of the shooter but that was quickly amended as the description of the church pastor.

Officers then reported 5 children down at the rear of the church. Other officers breached the church and performed a clearance. The shooter was reported down and deceased with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.

Current reports indicate the shooter shot to death his 3 children; under the age of 15, and 1 other person, age unknown.

Update: It’s being reported the 5th victim was a chaperone who was supervising a visit between the father and children. Sacramento Sheriff says mother had restraining order out on father of children.

Suspect Sets Fire To Al-Huda Islamic Center, Shot Dead By Police

Dearborn Michigan 1:10AM 2/12/2022: Dearborn Police responding to reports of a fire at the Al-Huda Islamic Center, 8835 Warren St, encountered a male with a weapon, dressed in full body armor according to dispatch audio.

Dearborn Fire was dispatched to the mosque on reports of a fire and coded alarms going off. Arriving companies reported a working fire and established a fire scene.

Officers; while investigating the fire, heard a loud ‘pop’ and turned to see the suspect pointing a weapon at them. Officers on the scene described the subject as a ‘light-skinned Middle Eastern male’, armed with a handgun and dressed in full body armor.

Officers followed the subject south on Lonyo from the mosque to Lonyo & Kirkwood. Michigan State Police helicopter Trooper 2 was overhead when the armed suspect began moving towards officers with the his arm outstretched. Detroit Police; also on scene, reported shots fired and the suspect was down. Earlier dispatch audio suggested the suspect had threatened to shoot the police. It is unknown if the suspect fired shots, but Dearborn Officers fired shots towards the subject, downing him.

A Dearborn K9/Handler was deployed to the suspects location. Officers reported the suspect was secured and a weapon recovered. Later dispatch audio from both Dearborn and Detroit Police suggested the suspect was a K-Type or deceased at the scene.

Dearborn Police also identified a suspicious package in the suspects possession, now in a yard near the shooting scene. Dearborn notified their EOD (Explosive Ordinance) and Detroit Fire dispatched Battalion Chief 7, Engine 34, Ladder Truck 22, Squad 5 and Hazmat to stage nearby while the package was investigated.

At the time of this writing, the Detroit Police, Fire and Dearborn Police were waiting for a robot to arrive to further secure the suspect and suspicious package.

Officer Involved Shooting 7 Mile & Hayes, NE Detroit

NE Detroit 6:02PM 19 December 2021: Detroit Police 9th Precinct officers were dispatched to 15201 7 Mile at around 6:03PM on reports of an armed female creating a disturbance at the Sunoco gas station. Reports indicate the female, armed with a 9mm handgun, was refusing customers entry and pointing the weapon at people inside.

Officers arrived on scene minutes later and the suspect confronted the officers with the handgun, pointing it at them. The officer(s) fired their service weapons and struck the female several times in the chest, according to dispatch audio. The same officers then conveyed the female to St John Hospital where she succumbed to her wounds. It appears as if some if not all of the incident was caught on Green Light Partner video. Detroit Police Homicide and Michigan State Police will be investigating. Below is the dispatch audio caught during the incident.

Victims Pulled From Burning Dwelling By Detroit Fire

Detroit’s East Side: Detroit Fire was dispatched to the 7000 block of Frederick earlier this morning at around 557AM. Upon arrival, companies found the single family dwelling on fire. Engine 46 stretched on the burning dwelling upon arrival. Squad 3 notified Central Dispatch victims had been found and were being extricated from the dwelling.

Both victims suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, conveyed to DRH by Detroit EMS where they succumbed to their injuries. Sources are reporting they were father and son.

Fatal Shooting: Double Shooting On Detroit’s NW Side Leaves 1 Dead

12th Precinct Investigating Double Shooting, Bond Liquor On Fenkell

Fatal Shooting At Fenkell & Sorrento

Detroit’s NW Side: DPD’s 12th Precinct was notified by 911 a pair of shootings took place at around 905PM Friday evening. Both shootings took place in the area of Fenkell & Sorrento/Steel at the Bond Liquor. A male was shot inside the liquor store, it’s unknown where the female was shot, inside or outside. The female stated that when she realized she was shot, she fled the area in her vehicle. Her vehicle was found at Wyoming & 7 Mile at the KFC. Her boyfriend conveyed the female from there to Sinai-Grace Hospital. Dispatch audio suggested the female had been shot in the head while inside the vehicle, but that is unconfirmed. With that said, the DPD is investigating this shooting of course, this is just dispatch audio and can as it often does, change with investigation. At the time of the dispatch, the female was talking to officers at the hospital. .

The male was declared dead in the E/R, shot multiple times. It’s unknown of the female and male were known to each other.

The suspect was described on dispatch audio of being on foot, wearing a ski mask, gray winter coat, black or blue pants, brown work boots, armed with a blue steel automatic. The suspect was last seen NB on Sorrento from Fenkell. DEMS Medic 27 had the medical run.
