Dispatch Audio: FATAL SHOOTING ON DETROIT’S EAST SIDE

Detroit’s East Side 1045PM October 30 2021: Detroit Police responded to a 911 caller reporting someone shot at Dequindre & 7 Mile at around 1045PM. Arriving officers discovered a vehicle into a wall with what appears as 2 people suffering from gunshot wounds. Detroit Fire’s Engine 44 (MFR) and DEMS Medic 16 were dispatched. An additional medic; DEMS Medic 22, was later dispatched for the 2nd victim but was canceled once a DEMS Supervisor reported 1 person was a K-Type on scene (Fatal). The second victim was conveyed to the hospital by DEMS Medic 16 with a gunshot wound, critical. Another victim from the shooting may have been privately conveyed to the hospital according to dispatch audio. Additional audio suggested a vehicle pulled up to the victim’s vehicle and started shooting, striking at least 2.

Detroit Police were also dispatched to Marx & E State Fair for a possible shooting scene. Shell casings were discovered by officers and reported as the shooting scene. Detroit Police Evidence/Forensic Tech 4711 was dispatched to process the scene of a Fatal Shooting at 1226AM on the 31st of October.

Detroit Police Searching For West Side Homicide Suspect

Detroit’s West Side:

WANTED: Suspect, Keith Talley Jr., wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side. On July 25th at approximately 8:45 p.m., in the 3500 block of 23rd Street, the suspect had an altercation with his neighbor (male, 40s). During the altercation, the suspect assaulted the victim and then fatally shot him before fleeing on a bicycle. The suspect is at large and is believed to be still armed and dangerous. If anyone has seen this suspect or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked to please call Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.

Detroit Police Investigating A Fatal Shooting, Braile & Midland

Detroit’s NW Side 9:45PM July 26 2021: Confirmed Fatal Shooting: Detroit Police’s 8th Precinct, Detroit Fire’s Engine 54 (MFR) and DEMS Medic 18 to the 15500 block of Braile x Midland on reports of a shooting. DPD Scout reports victim down in the street, at least 2-3 GSWs, 2 to the face and 1 to the arm. DFD’s Engine 54 is on scene as MFR (Medical First Response), reports a Code 7 (Fatal). DPD blocking off streets in the area. Detroit Police evidence techs have been dispatched to process the scene.

via DPD: UPDATE: Detroit Police arrested a male Suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that took place last night at El Sierra Bar. July 26 2021 5:30PM

Detroit’s SW Side 10:28PM July 25 2021: Confirmed Fatal Shooting: DPD’s 4th Precinct/DEMS Medic 10, Detroit Fire’s Engine 34 at Chopin & Panama for a fatal shooting. Original run was for a 20 year old choking. DFD’s Engine 34 arrived on scene as MFR (Medical First Response) and confirmed a Code 7 shooting (Fatal) according to dispatch audio.

Early Morning Incidents In The City of Detroit-7/14/21

Detroit-July 14 2021: The following incidents were captured on overnight dispatch audio. Dispatch audio is always subject to change, further investigation by police often results in an entirely different incident, know that.

1244AM: Shots Fired: 9200 block of Yorkshire Rd, Shot Spotter detected shots coming from behind home.

0134AM: 911 caller reports about 30+ shots in the 11400 block of Rutland St. DPD Scouts have found both handgun and rifle casings in the street. This incident is in conjunction with the below fatal shooting on Plymouth.

Confirmed Fatal Shooting-NW Detroit

0135AM: Confirmed Fatal Shooting: 911 caller reports someone shot at 17040 Plymouth, Dolla Bills Gentleman’s Club. DPD Scouts were on scene and reported a large crowd, attempted at the time to gather information on how many people had gunshot wounds. DEMS Medic 17 was dispatched to the scene and advised by dispatch of possible multiple people with gunshot wounds. DEMS Medic 2 and DEMS Supervisor 1105 was also dispatched to the scene. DEMS Medic 17 cancelled DEMS Medic 2 with the discovery of only 1 GSW victim. A man in his 20s was struck multiple times. DEMS Medic 17 declared the victim deceased on the scene at 0151AM. The shooting appears to be a drive by and the victim was struck in the parking lot. DPD looking for a dark colored SUV and 2 suspects. DPD’s 6th Precinct is investigating.

0139AM: Privately conveyed stabbing victim at Sinai-Grace, possible scene in the 100 block of Louise in Highland Park. Victim may actually a suspect in a felony assault in the area.

0250AM: Shots Fired: DPD’s 5th Precinct investigating shots fired into an occupied dwelling in the 6100 block of Neff. No one was injured according to the DPD scout on scene.

0318AM: Shots Fired: 911 caller reports shots being fired in the 660 block of S Green St. Female caller reports a shooting at the location. 4th Precinct.

0334AM: Shots Fired: Shot Spotter detected shots being fired in the area of 14900 block of Faircrest St, 4 shots fired. South of Faircrest on Queen.

The above incidents are just a sampling of the runs fielded by the Detroit Police Department in the early morning hours of July 14 2021. Multiple calls for assistance were made through 911. They included; as always, domestic violence, assaults, disturbances etc.
