Legends Nightclub Shooting Leaves 1 Dead

Legends Nightclub @ 415 E Congress, Downtown Detroit

Downtown Detroit: Detroit Police were called to the area around Greektown Casino early this morning at around 2:15AM on reports of someone with a gun. The call into the 911 Dispatch Center was made from a burnt out cell phone, the exact location wasn’t immediately available and was centered around the Greektown area of downtown Detroit.

While DPD units checked the area, the Detroit Police were notified of a shooting at 415 E Congress, Legends Nightclub.

On Arrival, DPD Scouts from the downtown services unit discovered 2 victims at Legends, with a third privately conveyed to Detroit Receiving Hospital @ 4201 St Antoine.

Further investigation revealed 3 had been shot, 1 fatal and 2 with serious injuries. All victims were taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, 2 by DEMS Medic 6.

Dispatch Audio: Detroit Police & Michigan State Police Pursuit Through SW Detroit, Suspect Shot Dead

1 Suspect Dead, 1 Injured In SW Detroit Pursuit

DETROIT June 3 2019: Detroit Police and Michigan State Police pursued a non-fatal shooting suspect earlier today through SW Detroit.

The pursuit of the gray Dodge Caravan, initiated by the Detroit Police Department @ Junction & Otis on Detroit’s west side, was handed off to the Michigan State Police as the chase wound its way through city streets to the I-75 Freeway.

One of the vehicle’s occupants was a suspect in an earlier non-fatal shooting near Fort & Downing St in SW Detroit.

The suspect struck, according to dispatch tapes, a number of civilian and police vehicles in its bid to escape.

Attempts were made to stop the vehicle by the Michigan State Police with varying success. The pursuit came to an end when MSP Troopers were able to PIT the vehicle at Fort & West End in SW Detroit. Detroit Police and Michigan State Police Troopers fired on the vehicle as it attempted to flee, almost striking an officer in the process.

Reports indicate a passenger inside the suspect vehicle was shot dead, the driver receiving 2 gunshot wounds to the right arm and 1 gunshot wound to his right leg. Both were conveyed to Detroit Receiving Hospital by Detroit EMS Medics 11 & 9.

Dispatch Audio: Drug Deal Goes Bad, 1 Killed On Detroit’s West Side

DETROIT’S WEST SIDE – One person is dead and another is hospitalized in serious condition after what police describe as a drug deal gone bad.

The Detroit Police were called to the Capitol Liquor Store at around 1:25AM after receiving a call from a female saying her boyfriend had been shot.

According to the Detroit Police, the two victims were at the Capitol Liquor store to buy narcotics when two gunmen in a white Dodge Caravan pulled up and started shooting.

A 39 year old man was shot several times and died at the scene. CPR was performed by arriving 2nd Precinct officers. A 34 year old woman was conveyed to the hospital by Detroit EMS Medic 2.

The suspects then fled south on Schaefer and currently remain at large. Both suspects are described as black men, age 18-20. One is described as having a light complexion and dreadlocks, the other dark skin and wearing all black.

Dispatch Audio: Fatal Shooting On Detroit’s East Side

1 Shot Dead On Detroit’s East Side

Detroit’s East Side: (8:00PM) DPD’s 11th Precinct were dispatched to the 7500 block of Quinn this evening for a reported shooting.

The 911 caller reported a shooting behind his residence and that someone may be shot.

Arriving officers found 1 victim and requested EMS to the scene. Universal Medic 43 responded and conveyed the victim to St Johns Hospital.

The victim died from his wounds.

Detroit Police evidence techs have responded to process the scene.

Dispatch Audio: Man Dies In Double East Side Shooting

2 Shot, 1 Fatally On Detroit’s East Side

Detroit’s East Side: DPD’s 5th Precinct was dispatched to an injury traffic collision at the intersection of Courville & E Warren early Saturday morning, around 1:53AM.

There, arriving officers discovered a 34 year old female shooting victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim said she had been shot at the J-Spot at E Warren & 3 Mile Dr just before she lost consciousness.

Investigating officers from the 5th & 9th Precincts discovered a male shooting victim laying in the road outside the J-Spot Bar & Grill @ 16200 E Warren.

Detroit EMS Medic 24 responded to the female victim @ Courville & E Warren and notified Detroit EMS dispatch that another DEMS rig would be required for the second shooting scene. Medic 24 also notified dispatch that CPR was being performed on the male victim.

DEMS Medic 15 and DEMS Supervisor 1104 responded to the scene in front of the J-Spot.

Both victims were conveyed to St Johns Hospital at Mack & Moross. The 34 year old female victim is said to be in critical condition and the 36 year old male victim has died of his wounds.
