MSP’s Trooper 2 Nabs Another One

Detroit’s West Side – January 5, 2019: Michigan State Police Flying Blue Goose Trooper 2 assists Detroit PD’s 8th Precinct in the apprehension of a home invasion suspect in the area of Greenview & Pembroke, Detroit’s west side.

He thought he could hide from the evil eye in the sky…but, well, nnnope.

Off he goes to the DDC for a cheese sandwich and a juicy-juice.

Another great job by Trooper Two over the city of Detroit. Another bad guy off the streets. https://t.co/v8n4k3MR18

Detroit EMS Assists MSP On Freeway

Another example of what our first responders are doing on the highways and byways of Detroit. You won’t read about it in the media and our first responders aren’t asking for any recognition, they just do it.

Detroit January 4 2019 – 10:00PM: Michigan State Police and Detroit EMS were notified of a person on the southbound lanes of the John C Lodge Freeway late Friday night. MSP dispatch was in telephonic contact with the subject, updating MSP Troopers on the incident.

Detroit EMS Medic 6 was dispatched to the scene with DEMS supervisor 1104. Arriving first on the scene, MSP’s Trooper 2 updated MSP dispatch with the location of the subject.

Detroit EMS supervisor 1104 spotted the man in the SB lanes of the M-10, just under the Lafayette Overpass.

DEMS Medic 6 began to slow traffic in the southbound lanes as MSP’s Air Unit Trooper 2 was overhead directing MSP Troopers to the scene.

MSP ground units soon arrived and with the help of DEMS Medic 6 were able to stop traffic and make contact with the subject. He was soon detained and conveyed by DEMS Medic 6 to Detroit Receiving Hospital’s Crisis Unit.

Detroit PD 3rd Precinct units arrived but were advised by MSP’s Trooper 2 the subject had been detained.

Below is video from MSP’s Trooper 2. Dispatch audio is from Detroit EMS, Michigan State Police and the DPD.

Dispatch Audio: Mayhem In The Burbs, 4 Stabbed In Eastpointe Brouhaha

January 5, 2019 By Motor City 911

Rein Ave In Eastpointe

Melee In Eastpointe Injures 4

Eastpointe, Mi – 1245am January 5 2019: Eastpointe Police & Fire were dispatched early Saturday morning to the 22000 block of Rein Ave on reports that a female had been stabbed by a male.

Arriving officers & firefighters were met by a large crowd of uncooperative subjects and numerous stabbing victims. One Eastpointe police officer stated everyone was covered in blood.

As the incident unfolded, stabbing victims were found inside the residence, outside the residence in the backyard and on the sidewalk in front of the residence…a scene reminiscent of, I dunno, something icky.

HE DID IT! HIM! HE DID IT!

According to dispatch recordings, a male stabbed the boyfriend of a girl, then things erupted into a knife-fight of epic proportions. The final tally was 4 stabbed, including the suspect who was pointed out by witnesses at the scene.

The suspect is named, but his name has been redacted because let’s be honest, things change drastically once the blood coagulates and I’m not aware of any charges being filed.

Multiple medics were requested to the scene and all of the victims, including the suspect, were conveyed to St John’s Main on Moross. At time of dispatch, an Eastpointe Fire Paramedic stated there were 3 priority injuries and 1 superficial wound to a victims hand.

Eastpointe PD is investigating I’m sure, the victims conditions are unknown and if there’s been arrest in this melee, I haven’t heard.

The below dispatch audio has been heavily edited due to a lousy feed. Digital burps, farts and everything in between interrupted the original recording so they’ve been edited out.

And so it goes…

Michigan State Police Release

Serious Traffic Crash: Friday, January 4 2019: MSP Metro South Post was contacted by the Van Buren Township police department to handle a traffic crash that occurred on Ecorse Rd near Van Buren that involves an EMS unit.
