February 21, 2019 By Motor City 911

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio: A Detroit man accused of threatening a mass shooting on Facebook has been found hiding out in Youngstown.

U.S. Marshals on Wednesday arrested 28-year-old Cameron White on a warrant accusing him of making terroristic threats over social media.

Authorities say White posted that he was “planning a massive shooting real soon,” in the Detroit area.

It was believed that White was hiding in Youngstown with intentions of returning to Detroit to carry out the shooting.

Marshals found White in a house on Youngstown’s East Side near the 900 block of State Street where he was arrested.

According to Mr White’s Facebook account, he once worked for S.A.F.E. Management (Security, Athletic Facilities & Events) in Detroit, a specialty tailored event management company that specializes in crowd management, 24/7 security, and guest services according to its Facebook Page. Customers included Ford Field.

On November 28, 2018, Mr White left the below review on S.A.F.E.’s Facebook page.

White is being held in the Mahoning County Jail where he awaits an extradition hearing to send him back to Detroit on charges of terroristic threats and computer crimes.

Dispatch Audio: Boo Boo On The West Side Leaves 1 Dead

February 14, 2019 By Motor City 911

Victim Doinks Bad Guy With Bad Guy’s Own Gun

Detroit’s West Side: Sometimes, it’s just better to stay home and watch cartoons, seriously.

At 10:14AM, Detroit Police received news of shots fired and 1 body on the ground in the 18600 block of Snowden.

Arriving officers found 1 dude stretched out in front of the dwelling, the unit immediately asked for Detroit EMS to step it up and started asking questions, a lot of questions, apparently.

Accounts vary, but some say this was a car jacking gone horribly wrong, some say it was a robbery gone bad, but there’s a dead dude stretched out in front of a residence on Snowden, that’s not going to change.

So, this is how the story goes, 2 guys armed with at least one handgun decided to approach the victim while he was sitting inside his rented Honda Santa Fe on Snowden St.

They demanded cash and he didn’t have any. We live in a cashless society these days, so for bad guys, it’s a hit and miss thang.

Bad Guy 1: Give us some money!

Bad Guy 2: Yeah, give us some money, we don’t have any!

Victim: I don’t have any either!

Bad Guy 1: What?

Bad Guy 2: Yeah, what?

Victim: I meant I don’t have any money onnnn me, but I have some up at the house, follow me to riches bitches…

Well, as these two yahoos would soon find out, sometimes a plan doesn’t always come together. When the three got to the front of the house, the victim, seeing an opportunity, fought with the two bad guys. He was able to disarm 1 and sent him screaming to Hell. His carcass was seen splayed out in front of the house, taking a dirt nap….er, snow nap.

The second suspect, a bit shocked, decides to do a Bo & Luke Duke towards the victim’s vehicle, jumps in and takes off north on Snowden towards 7 Mile, according to dispatch tapes.

This is where it gets a little confusing. Dispatch tapes reveal information on 2 vehicles, a gray Hyundai Sonata, apparently the bad guys ride, and a 2018 white Honda Santa Fe, rented from Hertz, belonging to the victim.

The victim’s Honda Santa Fe, with Florida plates, was discovered about an hour later on Hartwell St, 1 block west of the shooting scene. I haven’t heard anything on the Hyundai Sonata.

The 2nd suspect is described as a 20 something Black male, 6′ in height and about 230lbs. He was also described as being light skinned/complexion, wearing a black hoodie, black skull cap and black pants. He was last seen southbound on Hartwell, poor and butthurt…..probably wishing he had stayed in bed this morning instead of acting all bad ass.

He still doesn’t have any cash and his BFF is snorkling snow…well, was.

Dispatch Audio: Detroit Police Car Boosted From Boost Mobile Store

February 4, 2019 By Motor City 911

A DPD unit was just stolen from an officer @ Townsend & Gratiot, Boost Mobile Store. Officer has weapon on her, thankfully.

The officer was off duty and on her way home, she stopped at the Boost Mobile when… https://t.co/KPLidwT7Hn

DPD Police Unit Boosted From Boost Mobile Store

Detroit’s East Side: It all started around 6:30pm, a Neighborhood Police Officer, or NPO for short, was off duty and on her way home when she stopped at the Boost Mobile Store @ 7451 Gratiot to pay a cell bill.

Reports indicate the Detroit Police Officer, a Sergeant, left the vehicle running while she popped into the Boost Mobile Store, because who the hell is going to snatch a marked police car, right?

Well, a rather desperate black male in a black hoodie decided to do just that and took the DPD unit for a short jaunt through the mean streets of Detroit’s east side.

The shocked officer notified dispatch that she last saw her police unit travelling southbound on Gratiot towards downtown Detroit. It’s unknown if a foot chase was involved, unlikely though.

The officer advised dispatch her weapon and ID were in her possession and not in the stolen unit.

Fortunately, a 7th Precinct unit spotted the stolen cruiser at Kercheval & Van Dyke. At the same time, the eagle like eyes of Crime Intel, or the Green Light Bat Cave the DPD uses to monitor Green Light Locations in Detroit, also spotted the errant police car.

A pair of 7th Precinct units then took the bad guy into custody at Kercheval & Van Dyke, saving further embarrassment to an already embarrassed police department.

The DPD has been dealing with drunken command staff, drunken officers sporting weapons in bars outside the city and a couple of their officer’s displaying incredibly poor judgement when they posted a questionable citizen contact on a social media platform.

It’s been a trying week for the Detroit Police Department.

Below is dispatch audio from the incident.
