Arriving scouts reported 2 shot and 1 appeared to be a “K-Type”, deceased.

Reports indicate a shootout took place when the victim and another male arrived at the residence on Prairie and were subsequently ambushed by desperados lurking in the shadows.

Shots were exchanged and 3 ended up with holes, 2 of those victims remained on scene, including the deceased. The varmints who ambushed the victim hightailed it from the crime scene…

Meanwhile…

Sinai-Grace Hospital security reported a silver Chevrolet Equinox, Michigan Plate DQF 5688, occupied by a masked male driver and 2 other males dumped a GSW victim off on their doorstep. The vehicle was last seen going westbound on McNichols. Sinai-Grace Hospital security also notified DPD that a black semi-automatic handgun was also spotted on the floorboard of the vehicle. This vehicle was determined to be involved in the shooting on Prairie St.

Detroit EMS Medic 3 pronounced 1 28 year old male deceased on Prairie St and conveyed 1 victim from the scene to Sinai-Grace Hospital. Both victims, including the victim dumped by the Chevy Equinox are listed in critical condition.

Police are said to have recovered 2 weapons from the scene. The Chevy Equinox remains outstanding.

Dispatch Audio: Gunfight in Warren, robbery suspect loses, ends up leaking from gunshot wounds

January 22, 2020 By Motor City 911

Sherman & Mullin

Warren (3:00AM): Warren Police were called to Sherman & Mullin early Wednesday morning on reports of a robbery/shooting. .

According to reports, a 22 year old male was returning from a concert when he was approached by another 22 year old man, who didn’t go to a concert. An argument developed during the meeting and the non-concert going 22 year old attempted to rob the more socially adept 22 year old…that plan didn’t come together as hoped.

Shots were exchanged because, surprise, the concert going 22 year old was also armed. During the exchange of gunfire, the 22 year old non-concert going and socially inept robber was boinked in the leg and arm by rounds fired by the victim.

The suspect, now leaking from a GSW to the leg and the arm, hobbled away thinking “I really need to get a f****** job” but was found by responding Warren PD officers inside a vehicle @ Lorraine & Toepfer. Warren Fire and medics were dispatched to the scene and conveyed the wounded bonehead to the hospital where he’s in stable condition. The victim was unharmed and planning on attending another concert.

The leaking bad guy will probably be housed in the Macomb County Jail where EVERYDAY is a happy-happy joy-joy filled day.

Dispatch Audio: Police witness man shot, set ablaze on Detroit’s west side

Green Light Camera Catches Incident

Detroit’s West Side (4:15AM): DPD’s 8th Precinct broadcast an officer safety bulletin advising officers of shots were being fired south of Lahser & Pilgrim early Wednesday morning. Apparently, and I can’t confirm this, while DPD’s Crime Intell were checking cameras they noticed a mini-van, described as a Dodge Caravan, dumping a body on the ground, shooting it and then setting it ablaze at Westbrook & Outer Drive West.

Multiple units were dispatched to the scene and discovered the body, still ablaze. Detroit Fire and Detroit EMS Medic 17 were dispatched to the scene. DEMS Medic 17 pronounced the victim deceased shortly afterward.

Dispatch audio suggests the suspect is a Black male in a gray hoodie. The vehicle was last seen southbound on Westbrook from Outer Drive W. There’s no further description given of the Dodge Caravan or the victim.
