Shooting On Burt & Dover On Detroit’s West Side

Detroit police responded to reports of a shooting early Friday morning. Detroit police officers of the 6th Precinct discovered 1 shot at a residence on Burt Rd, just north of Dover on Detroit’s west side.

Detroit Fire’s Engine 55 and Detroit EMS Medic 22 also responded to the scene.

Victims condition is unknown.

No further details are available at this time.

Shooting On Detroit’s West Side Leads To Fatal Collision

A shooting on Detroit’s west side lead to a fatal traffic collision at Grand River & Schaefer early Tuesday morning. Detroit police responded to reports of a shooting on the 14000 block of Northlawn this morning at 7:25AM.

Police from the 10th Precinct were called to the scene following a 911 call describing a man armed with a shotgun shooting inside and outside the residence on Northlawn.

10th Precinct Unit 10-3 soon spotted the suspect, identified as 34 year old Dante Lindsay, driving a green 2008 Chevrolet Uplander at Davison & Wyoming.

The audio suggests Unit 10-3 had activated lights and siren at that point.

The above audio has a lot of gaps in the transmissions, but a supervisor soon asked for speed & conditions present during the pursuit.

Radio transmissions suggest the pursuit was then terminated by supervisors.

A few minutes later, another unit had located the suspects vehicle traveling south on Schaefer from Schoolcraft in the 2nd Precinct, notifiying dispatch they were following the suspects vehicle but had not activated lights or siren.

The suspects vehicle continued south on Schaefer until striking another vehicle between Green River & the I-96 Service Drive (Jeffries Freeway).

Units on the scene notified dispatch that 1 suspect was in custody and another down, possibly a “k-type (Fatal).

Home Invasion Suspects Sought By Detroit Police

Home invasion suspects sought the Detroit Police. The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three (3) suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Monday, April 17, 2017 at approximately 11:55 a.m., in the 15700 block of Gilchrist, one of three (3) suspects forced entry into an occupied home.

The homeowner fired a shot as the suspect was entering through the window, and all three fled.

Nothing was taken and no injuries were reported.

On video, you will see the suspects notice the surveillance camera and turn it away from them.

Suspect Sought In Fatal Shooting on Detroit’s West Side

Armed & Dangerous Suspect Wanted For West Side Murder

Detroit – April 6 2017: A fatal shooting occurred on April 6 2017 on Detroit’s west side. The shooting killed 1 and critically injured another.

DPD officer’s were called to the 12000 block of Littlefield at around 7:00PM Thursday evening.

Upon arrival, officers of the 2nd Precinct found 2 victims inside a parked vehicle. The victims, a 28 year old male and a 19 year old male had both been shot. 1 victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At the time, the suspect was described only as a black male.

A BOL (Be On The Lookout) was transmitted to Detroit Police officers today (April 10 2017) around 1:00PM.

The BOL detailed a wanted suspect in the shooting. Adonis Alfred Mack.

9 Year Old Shot On Detroit’s West Side

9 Year Old Boy Shot On Detroit’s West Side

Detroit – 2:50PM April 1 2017: A 9 year old child has been shot on Detroit west side this afternoon. DPD officers from the 8th Precinct were dispatched to a residence in the 15400 block of Murray Hill at around 2:50PM this afternoon on reports of a victim with a GSW (gunshot wound).

Upon arrival, the officers were informed that the victim, a male child of 9 years old, was privately conveyed to Sinai-Grace Hospital by his father.

Witnesses described the shooters vehicle as a silver Dodge Magnum, occupied by 3-4 black males in their 20s. The vehicle was described as having a “pink let side taillight”.

The vehicle was last seen on Outer Drive & 6 Mile (McNichols).

The child was eventually transferred to Children’s Hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.

Detroit police are still searching for the silver Dodge Magnum occupied 4x by black males.

Investigators are on numerous locations checking vehicles that might be tied to this shooting.

Detroit evidence techs were dispatched to the scene of the shooting on Murray Hill for a “non-fatal” shooting. The 9 year old was shot in the head and is in critical condition.
