Freeway Shooting In Dearborn Injures One

Dearborn, Michigan 9:10PM March 15 2022: Via Michigan State Police – Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was traveling in the center lane of the southbound M39 near Oakwood in a Dodge Charger when he was shot.

The suspect vehicle; a white in color Chrysler, pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle on the driver’s side and the passenger started shooting.

Detroit Police located the victim at Plymouth & Archdale in the City of Detroit.

The victim sustained a minor graze wound to his right arm and was conveyed to Beaumont Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn by Rapid Response Medic 51.

The victim’s vehicle was also struck and a firearm was later recovered from inside the victim’s vehicle.

A canvas for evidence was performed and troopers are interviewing the victim. A motive has not been established. Anyone with information is asked to call the Metro South Post at 734.287.5000.

Man shot multiple times during Dearborn domestic disturbance

Man Shot Multiple Times


Dearborn (2:53AM): Dearborn PD & FD were called to the 24300 block of Boston early Wednesday morning at around 2:53AM on reports of 2 people being shot at the location.

Arriving officers discovered one victim had been privately conveyed to the hospital, a second victim may have run from the residence and the suspect was still outstanding. A Dearborn PD officer stated there was 5 children inside the residence he was in the process of clearing.

Dearborn Police polled and responded to local hospitals in an attempt to locate the shooting victim conveyed by a family member. Police were also canvassing the area for another possible victim.

The shooting victim was finally located at Henry Ford Fairlane, 19401 Hubbard in the city of Dearborn. A Dearborn FD medic unit was dispatched to Henry Ford Fairlane to transport the critical shooting victim to Henry Ford Main in Detroit.

Witnesses told police there was only 1 shooting victim and that the shooting took place following an argument between the shooter and 2 others.

The suspect was named and a description of the vehicle was broadcast by Dearborn PD, a dark gray 2015 Dodge Durango, Michigan plate DZU 8110.

The ‘Old Bomb In The Bra Trick’ Doesn’t Fool Dearborn PD

Two Arrested Following Two Bank Jobs In Dearborn

Dearborn, MI. – At approximately 9:23 am on December 13, 2018, Dearborn Police received a 911 call for a bank robbery in progress at the Huntington Bank in the 5200 block of Oakman, near Michigan. The caller relayed that the female suspect had indicated “they were watching,” and she was forced to carry an explosive device. She was given money and she left the area in a white sedan.

At approximately 9:48 am, the Huntington Bank in the 22000 block of Michigan Ave called 911 and stated that a female had just robbed the bank with a note indicating an explosive device. She left the scene in a white sedan.

The description was broadcast and Dearborn patrol officers located the vehicle on Michigan Ave near Southfield. A traffic stop was made and two suspects were detained pending further investigation.

The Dearborn Police Bomb Squad was called to the scene and ensured that there was no explosive device in the vehicle.

After speaking with the vehicle occupants, two arrests were made and the vehicle was impounded.

The investigation is still ongoing as Detectives responded to both banks to speak with witnesses and review video footage.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Due to the information provided by witnesses and the quick actions of our officers, the suspects involved in these incidents were successfully taken into custody. I commend both the witnesses and the officers involved for their efforts.”
