Fatal Shooting On Detroit’s West Side

December 12 2016 Detroit: Detroit Police responded to Tireman & Firwood in the 10th Precinct this afternoon at 1:15PM on reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, DPD Scouts discovered a 13 year old male had been shot in the chest.

Detroit EMS & Detroit Fire’s Engine 42 were dispatched to the scene.

Detroit Police have said the children were at the house on Tireman playing video games due to the Detroit Public School system’s “snow day”. The 13 year old shot had been invited to the house along with others.

At some point, one of the teens retrieved a handgun belonging to the owner of the house. While showing the handgun to his friends, the weapon discharged striking the 13 year old in the chest.

Confirmed Shooting: 10th Precinct. Tireman & Firwood. 13 year old with a GSW to chest. Scout believes its fatal. DFD/DEMS responding.

Dispatch Audio: Detroit Police & Michigan State Police Pursuit

December 10, 2016 By Motor City 911 Leave a Comment

Detroit Police & Michigan State Police Pursuit Audio

A Detroit Police undercover unit spotted and followed a stolen silver Ford F150 at around 4:47am this morning in downtown Detroit.

The UC vehicle followed the vehicle from Monroe Street & St Antoine, onto the northbound I-75, handing over the follow to the Michigan State Police on the northbound M-10 Lodge Freeway.

The chase, if you can call it that, ended up on city streets and terminated in a cloud of dust at Cheyenne & Fenkell.

The suspect’s vehicle kissed a building, bringing some of that building down and trapping the suspect inside the truck.

The suspect had to be cut/sawed/yanked from the vehicle by Detroit Fire’s Squad 5 using JAWS.

It sounds as if the perp is in critical condition, at least.

A couple of civilians may have also been injured but those injuries were described as minor by the Michigan State Trooper on scene.

The audio includes DPD, MSP & DFD dispatch audio.

Flash Mob Robbery In Connecticut

HARTFORD (Fox61)– Hartford police have arrested nine teens, including the one they said was the leader, on juvenile offenses after the community came together to identify those involved in a flash mob robbery at a gas station.

Police said Friday that nine people were referred to juvenile court, and as many as 25 more teens have been identified.

Hartford Public schools said, “We have worked in cooperation with Hartford police to identify the individuals responsible for the act.”

One juvenile, who acted as leader of flash mob group, was charged with Inciting riot, breach of peace and larceny according to police.

Police are “working with prosecutor to develop fair outcome,” Deputy Chief Brian Foley said.

Last month, dozens of juveniles were caught on camera looting a gas station. Around 10 p.m., police say 30 to 40 teens entered the Shell at 335 Capital Avenue after going to a party in the area.

Police say the teens destroyed property and looted items, mostly candy and snacks. When they left the store, the owner was forced to close for the night to clean up the mess.

The damage was valued at $4,000, police said.

Days later, families voluntarily surrendered their kids, according to police. Schools and CTfastrak busing system also helped to identify the teens.

According to Foley, some of the kids took a Fastrak bus to New Britain after the looting.
