Detroit Police 9th Precinct In The 19100 Block of Hamburg

Detroit’s NE Side 600PM October 31 2021: Detroit Police’s 9th Precinct is investigating a shooting in the 19100 block of Hamburg. Dispatch audio suggests Detroit Police officers are looking for an older model red Ford Taurus believed to be involved in the shooting. The vehicle was last seen NB on Hamburg towards Lappin. Detroit EMS also made the scene.

SHOOTING ON DETROIT’S WEST SIDE

Non Fatal Shooting Robson & Puritan

Detroit’s West Side 12:14AM October 31 2021: DPD’s 12th Precinct dispatched scouts to the 15800 block of Robson on reports of a 20 year old male shot at the location. Arriving officers confirmed the shooting and Detroit Fire’s Engine 53 (MFR) and Detroit EMS were dispatched to the scene.

Officers also mentioned a vehicle with Ohio plates thought to be involved in the shooting was discovered behind a residence in the 15800 block of Robson, 1 person was taken into custody at 1220AM, according to dispatch audio. DPD Evidence/Forensic Techs were dispatched to process the scene of a non fatal shooting.

Dispatch Audio: FATAL SHOOTING ON DETROIT’S EAST SIDE

Marx & E State Fair Fatal Shooting

Detroit’s East Side 1045PM October 30 2021: Detroit Police responded to a 911 caller reporting someone shot at Dequindre & 7 Mile at around 1045PM. Arriving officers discovered a vehicle into a wall with what appears as 2 people suffering from gunshot wounds. Detroit Fire’s Engine 44 (MFR) and DEMS Medic 16 were dispatched. An additional medic; DEMS Medic 22, was later dispatched for the 2nd victim but was canceled once a DEMS Supervisor reported 1 person was a K-Type on scene (Fatal). The second victim was conveyed to the hospital by DEMS Medic 16 with a gunshot wound, critical. Another victim from the shooting may have been privately conveyed to the hospital according to dispatch audio. Additional audio suggested a vehicle pulled up to the victim’s vehicle and started shooting, striking at least 2.

Detroit Police were also dispatched to Marx & E State Fair for a possible shooting scene. Shell casings were discovered by officers and reported as the shooting scene. Detroit Police Evidence/Forensic Tech 4711 was dispatched to process the scene of a Fatal Shooting at 1226AM on the 31st of October.

Traffic Violation Resist and Obstruct Police


Warrants Out Of Ohio for Felony Assault/R&O Police/CCW

Via The Michigan State Police ~ DATE/TIME: 10/27 2:15 PM LOCATION: 8 Mile and M-10 at BP Gas Station

SYNOPSIS: Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Dodge Charger for reckless driving on M-10 near 8 mile in the parking lot of the BP Gas Station. The driver, a 31 year old male, immediately exited the vehicle, using profanity, and started to walk away disregarding the troopers orders to stop. The trooper continued to give loud verbal commands to remain and was returned with vulgar and aggressive responses. 

The trooper attempted to stop the driver from leaving when the driver pulled away and continued to disregard his orders. The driver became more irate and combative and the trooper deployed his taser with negative results.

The trooper was able to take the driver into custody without incident but the driver/suspect continued to show active aggression towards the trooper. When the trooper was attempting to search the suspect for his wallet the suspect struck the trooper with his knee.

The suspect was placed in the patrol car and transported to the Detroit detachment for processing. He was then transported to the local hospital for medical clearance.

While in the patrol car and at the hospital, the suspect continued to verbally threaten troopers with and stated he was going to show up at the troopers residence as soon as he is released.

Further investigation revealed that that the suspect is also wanted out of Ohio for Felony Assault/R&O Police/CCW and has numerous traffic and misdemeanor warrants out of multiple jurisdictions in Michigan. Pends prosecutor review.

UPDATE: On 10/29 Almondo Remell Vick, 31 year old male from Southfield, was arraigned on two counts of Resist and Obstruct Police in the 36th Dist Court. He received a personal bond and pends court proceedings.

Fatal Fire 3600 Block of E Vernor

Detroit’s East Side-907AM October 27 2021: Detroit Fire responded to the 3600 block of E Vernor early this morning on reports of an occupied dwelling fire. Companies were advised by Central Dispatch there may be trapped civilians on the fire scene. Reports indicated a person was spotted in an upstairs window of the burning dwelling. Searches were conducted by the DFD and 1 person was discovered deceased.
