Fatal MVC in Otsego County, MSP’s Seventh District Investigating Single Vehicle Fatal MVC

Refuse Truck Leaves Road, Driver Killed

Via Michigan State Police: Otsego County: A GFL garbage truck was traveling westbound on Schuss Ln near Conifer Trl. in Bagley Twp. The truck ran off the roadway and struck a tree. When troopers arrived on scene, they observed a 43-year-old man from Kalkaska unresponsive. Troopers administered CPR until EMS arrived on scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. It is unclear what caused the crash.

Troopers were assisted by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Otsego County EMS, and the Otsego County Fire Department.

Detroit Police Investigating A Fatal Shooting On East St in Brewster Homes

DPD’s 3rd at Brewster Homes with a double shooting, 1 Fatal

Detroit (4:45PM): Detroit Police 3rd Precinct are investigating a double shooting in the Brewster Homes, East & Eliot Sts. Detroit Fire’s Squad 2 (MFR) and DEMS Medic 8 also responded. Upon arrival, DEMS Medic 8 reported 1 K-Type (Fatal). The other victim was conveyed by DPD Officers to a local hospital with non life threatening gunshot wounds. The area is being locked up by the DPD, expect a large presence in the area while the investigation takes place.

Detroit Police 6th Precinct Investigating A Stabbing On Detroit’s West Side

55 Year Old Male Stabbed on Grandville

Detroit Police 6th Precinct is investigating the stabbing of a 55yo male in the 6900 block of Grandville on Detroit’s west side. Dispatch audio suggests the man was stabbed twice. Detroit Fire’s Engine 55 (MFR-Medical First Response) and Superior Medic 64 also responded. Superior Medic 64 conveyed 1 critically injured victim to Beaumont-Dearborn.

Shots Fired Run Leads To Gun Seizures

DPD’s 3rd Precinct Locates Vehicle Involved

via DPD’s 3rd Precinct: Scouts from the DPD’s 3rd Precinct responded to a shots-fired call and located a vehicle involved in the incident.

After a thorough investigation, officers successfully apprehended three suspects and seized four firearms, including two handguns, one rifle, and a Glock with a fully automatic switch.

Ann Arbor Police Seeking Public’s Help In Identifying Two Males Acting…Stupid.

Help AAPD ID These Two Yahoos

INVESTIGATION UPDATE The AAPD has identified the individuals involved in the incident that occurred in the Foxfire subdivision on 7/16/24. We thank everyone for sharing this post and for the many tips we received. The case remains under active investigation.

via Ann Arbor PD: The AAPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying two males connected to an alarming incident that occurred at a home in the Foxfire subdivision. On 7/16/24 at approximately 8pm, the pictured subjects came to the residence knocking and ringing the doorbell.

While waiting for someone to answer, the two males could be heard saying the homeowner’s name. During the incident, one of the males pushed the ring doorbell and displayed a picture of a monkey on his phone.

The two males then drove away in a grey minivan when no one answered the door. The homeowner does not know these two individuals or why they would be at their home. Hate has no place in the City of Ann Arbor.

The AAPD would like to question these two subjects about the incident and their intentions. This incident is under active investigation, we are asking anyone with information about the two subjects to contact the AAPD tip line at 734.794.6939 or email tips@a2gov.org.
