Family Finds Body Of Missing 20 Year Old
Detroit’s West Side: A body found on the roof of a vacant dwelling today is reportedly a missing 20 year old Detroit man, Drevon Johnson.
Mr Johnson had been missing since December 16th 2018.
Detroit Police were called to the vacant dwelling in the 15700 block of Lesure early in the afternoon of January 17, 2019. Mr Johnson’s family made the discovery while searching vacant houses in the neighborhood.

Mr Johnson lived on the same street his body was found on and amazingly, was found in the last place he was seen. A friend of Johnson told his family members she heard shots coming from the house Mr Johnson was in, but never investigated.
Unable to reach or remove Mr Johnson’s body, the Detroit Police Department asked the Detroit Fire Department to assist in its recovery.
Detroit Fire’s 4th Battalion Chief 4, Ladder Truck 25 and Squad 1 were dispatched and Ladder 25 used its aerial platform to remove the young man’s body from the roof.
A cause of death has not been determined and the Detroit Police are investigating.
