Dispatch Audio: Kidnapping, Murder And A Puddle Of Blood On Detroit’s West Side

December 2, 2016 By John Roberts Leave a Comment

Von’s #3 Market/Liquor Store on Greenfield

Detroit December 1 2016: Strange case out of the west side this past Wednesday.

Around 430am a woman called the Detroit police and told the 911 operator that her son had been kidnapped and that the abductors were going to kill him.

Either her son called her or a friend of the son and told her that the son was in a blue van outfitted with a rack and that they were armed with a shotgun.

The caller; whoever it was, said her son was abducted from the Von’s #3 liquor store at 14918 Greenfield.

The mother, fearing for her sons life, went to the liquor store and found a big ol’ puddle of blood but her son was nowhere to be seen. That’s when she made the 911 call to Detroit Police.

A Detroit Police Officer responded to the liquor store on Greenfield and did in fact find what appeared to be a crime scene. again, lot’s of blood but no body.

The LEO on scene inquired about the location because of a large crowd that had been there earlier on the evening before. He was polling the dispatcher on whether or not there had been any reports of shootings at the location.

At around 9:37AM, Detroit Police dispatched a unit to the liquor store in order to secure the scene for FBI investigators.

marxstreet
The House on Marx St in Detroit…and a Van.

LEO’s got a tip for someone and the Detroit Police violent crime task force responded to a home at Marx St & Stender on Detroit’s north end. The house was placed under surveillance by I’m assuming the Detroit Police Department and the FBI.

Two subjects were seen leaving the residence in a blue van…with a rack…and a felony car stop was initiated.

Inside the van law enforcement officer’s found the body of the kidnap victim. Another version of the story has the person of interest tracked down and taken into custody at a house on Marx.

Whatever the story is, a 34 year old man is dead, a blue van is impounded, at least one person is in custody and a mother is grieving for her son, once again, in Detroit.

Names of the victim and those taken into custody have not been released.

And so it goes in Detroit.

Detroit Police Officers Save A 4 Month Baby Girl

DISPATCH AUDIO OF INCIDENT

With a combined experience level of 71 years, Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) Douglas Nichols and Sgt Charles Spruce of the Detroit Police Department make quite a team.

Today while responding to a routine call on 8 Mile Road, NPO Nichols & Sgt Spruce noticed a crowd gathering on Conant Street & McNichols Rd.

A crowd had gathered around a vehicle where a baby had been placed on the hood of the vehicle.

The mother of a 4 month old baby told officer’s Spruce & Nichols her baby wasn’t breathing, to the point where the child was changing color.

The officers immediately declared a “Priority” on the departments radio frequency and requested Detroit EMS to the scene, but the situation was getting worse by the second.

Sgt Spruce and NPO Nichols then made the decision to convey the child to Children’s Hospital in their scout car.

Other officers, hearing the priority, initiated moves to block traffic along the route.

Sgt Spruce drove “hot” south on the I-75 and exited Warren where other Detroit Police officers were waiting blocking intersections leading to the hospital.

At one point a truck blocked their path but the pair were able to negotiate around it and safely deliver the baby to the doctors and nurses of Michigan Children’s Hospital.

On a good day, it’s 5.7 miles and a 9 minute drive to Michigan’s Children’s Hospital on Beaubien from Conant & McNichols, but today the pair made in approximately 5 minutes.

Later, NPO Nichols announced on the radio the baby was in guarded condition, had stopped breathing along the route but CPR was performed and she started breathing again.

He thanked those officers who gave them assistance on the way to the hospital.

NPO Nichols said during the interview that “something made him take the Davison exit” earlier while responding to the call on 8 Mile Rd….there’s a mother of a 4 month old baby girl that’s thanking that “something” tonight.

Sometimes God just puts us where we need to be….

DISPATCH AUDIO

Northwest Detroit – November 29 2016: Detroit Police responded to reports of a shooting on McNichols & Greenfield on Detroit’s NW side last night at approximately 11:00PM.

Numerous calls were taken by the Detroit 911 call center and the incident soon developed into a shooting and a stabbing at a bus stop near the BP gas station. Both the 12th and the 2nd Precincts took 911 calls on this incident.

Reports indicated that a DDOT Detroit bus driver had been stabbed along with a female passenger. Detroit Police dispatch transmissions indicated the female passenger had been stabbed in the neck.

The first DPD scout to make the scene said the suspect in the stabbing had been shot by persons unknown. Witnesses at the time were being uncooperative on identifying the shooter.

Detroit Police evidence techs were dispatched to the scene for a critical stabbing and shooting.

Detroit Police units from the 12th and 2nd Precincts handled the investigation.

Fox2News reports the moron asked the bus driver to convey him to the hospital because he had been shot. The DDOT driver refused and the dipshit stabbed him.

The bus driver then pulled out a big ol’ can of whoop-ass and took the perp down, holding him until DPD scouts arrived.

The suspect was then conveyed by DEMS Medics while strapped/handcuffed to a gurney. Well done dipshit.

SWAT/SRT Callout on the east side of Detroit

Detroit Police & Fire Response To Conner St Barricaded Gunman

Detroit Police had a SWAT/SRT call-out last night and into this morning on Connor & Freud in the east side of Detroit,  5th Detroit Police Precinct.

What started off as just a call of a possible armed robbery ended up being a full-blown in your face barricade with children and adults involved. Detroit Police units from the 5th precinct made the scene late Monday night and were met with gunfire from inside the house. It’s not believed any of the shots were actually fired at officers.

5th precinct supervisors quickly set up a perimeter and contained the scene. Attempts were made to negotiate with the suspects inside the dwelling but they quickly deteriorated, requiring a declaration and call-out of  Detroit PD’s SRT/Hostage Negotiation team.

— The Detroit Scanner (@DetroitScanner) November 29, 2016

Negotiations have been ongoing for awhile now, but they’ve broken down. SRT hostage negotiators are making their way to scene. #MC911

— The Detroit Scanner (@DetroitScanner) November 29, 2016

The suspect had at least 1 hostage according to scouts on the scene.

A wide perimeter had been established due to the proximity of the house and the surrounding neighborhood.

Previous attempts at negotiation had failed and at least 1 attempt “to take out” the armed suspect failed when he went back into the house.

Detroit Fire’s 6th Battalion under the command of Battalion Chief 6 responded to the scene and staged nearby at Clairpointe & Freud.

At around 1:25AM, DPD reported the house was on fire and that the suspect had fired rounds from the dwelling. The 6th Battalion was notified to hang tight until the all clear was given by the DPD.

— The Detroit Scanner (@DetroitScanner) November 29, 2016

The DPD SRT Bearcat called the scene secure at around 1:28AM and the 6th Battalion moved in to fight the fire.

The scene is now secure, 6th Battalion is now fighting the fire. #MC911 https://t.co/6ca19CjNeb https://t.co/R9Wkdf8DHG

— The Detroit Scanner (@DetroitScanner) November 29, 2016

DFD dispatch advised Battalion Chief 6 there may still be civilians inside the dwelling and to take appropriate measures. Companies immediately entered the dwelling and started fighting fires in the basement, 1st floor and 2nd floor.

Battalion Chief 6 reported that they had rescued 1 small child during the search. 1 suspect is in custody after being tackled by an SRT Commander. It’s unknown if the 2nd suspect escaped or became a crispy critter during the fire.

2 children were injured and conveyed to a local hospital. 1 child is said to be in critical condition.
