Fatal Shooting At Fleming & E Lantz In Detroit’s North End

Detroit: February 5 2018 @ 5:55PM: Detroit Police units from the 11th Precinct responded to Fleming & E Lantz Ave on reports of a shooting.

Arriving units discovered 1 victim deceased at the scene.

Detroit Police evidence technicians, homicide investigators and the shooting team were dispatched to the scene.

UPDATE: MSP’s K9-1 & 2 responded to a house on Fleming St. Both K-9s were set to track a possible suspect in the fatal shooting.

Uber Driver Shot & Killed On Detroit’s West Side

Uber Driver Murdered On Detroit’s West Side

Detroit – February 4 2018 7:40PM: An Uber driver was shot and killed Sunday evening at around 7:40PM. Officer’s from the 2nd Precinct were dispatched to the 15000 block of Coyle on reports of a shooting.

Units found the victim dead on the scene.

Police say the victim, an Uber driver between the ages of 25-27 was shot while responding to a call for service on Coyle. Police say a witness called Uber to take her to a local eatery.

While sitting in the rear of the vehicle, another vehicle, described as a pickup truck, drove up to the car.

The Uber driver left the vehicle and started running.

The suspect also got out of his vehicle and ran after the victim, shooting him multiple times.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by Detroit EMS.

Man Shot In NW Detroit – Gilchrist & Clarita

Detroit February 3 2018 9:25PM: DPD units from the 8th Precinct responded to the 18900 block of Gilchrist Saturday evening at 9:25PM on reports of a male being shot.

Multiple units responded and found 1 man shot. DPD describes the shooter’s vehicle as a burgundy Chevrolet Equinox, last seen heading northbound from the location.

A description of the suspect was unavailable.

Detroit Police evidence techs have been dispatched to the scene of the non-fatal shooting.

Detroit Police Department Issues Warning To Social Media Users

Detroit: The Detroit Police Department issued a warning to social media users today after receiving multiple copies of an “image and/or video” of a minor involved in a sexual encounter.

 

The Detroit Police Department have been receiving multiple messages with a image and/or video of a minor involved in a sexual encounter.

Do not open, or share it.

Viewing and sharing this video is illegal, it is a felony.

Federal authorities have been notified.

Detroit Police Officer Glenn Doss Jr Funeral

Detroit Police General Broadcast Honoring Officer Glenn Doss Jr

Detroit- February 2 2018: Detroit Police Officer was shot and wounded during a response to a domestic last week. PO Glenn Doss died on January 28, 2018 from those injuries. Officer Doss Jr is the son of Detroit Police Officer Glenn Doss Sr.

His passing is an incredible loss to the City of Detroit.
