Detroit’s East Side (220PM 7.20.24): DPD’s 5th Precinct is investigating a shooting in the 400 block of Piper Blvd on Detroit’s east side. Reports indicate a 55 year old male was shot in the thigh. The shooter has been named and fled the scene in a blue/white Dodge Charger according to dispatch audio.
