A Wild Morning in Detroit With Shootings & Home Invading Birds.

I have to apologize for my absence of late, the Warden brought home a disease and my immune system hasn’t recovered from the last time. So, there you go….

Luckily, I have tape. When I’m not around monitoring the scanner frequencies for Detroit (Which is 99.9% of the time), I tape them via a computer program, it’s a wonderful thing. No one has the time to sit on ones ass and stare at the computer, so the tape collects what I think is interesting. It’s a time consuming process to collect, edit and upload all the media I do collect, so send beer and burritos, poste haste. In lieu of beer and burritos, you can send cash, bucketloads of it…I need a new scanner, 2 new laptops and a Snickers Bar.

So without further ado, I’m going to list all the incidents I deem interesting enough to include in this summary of Detroit crime on Sunday, November 27 2016.

Detroit EMS Workers Attacked

Not a lot of info on this so I’m just tossing up this audio up hoping more information will become available. The DEMS Medic was assaulted on Plymouth and conveyed to the hospital, his/her injuries are unknown. 6th Precinct.

Non Fatal Shooting at 15050 Houston Whittier Nightclub

There was a non fatal shooting at a nightclub on Houston Whittier & Queen St early this morning. The victim was privately conveyed to the hospital. This is the dispatch audio of the incident. 9th Precinct.

Shooting & Weapon Recovery @ John R & Grand Blvd

A shooting took place @ 6513 John R early this morning. No one was shot but a weapon was recovered at the scene.  3rd Precinct.

Fatal Shooting on Laing & Britain in NE Detroit

A fatal shooting took place this morning @ Laing & Britain. The original call was for shots fired in the area and a person down at the location. DPD scouts made the scene and discovered one person shot and deceased at the location with an additional victim possibly conveyed to a local hospital. 9th Precinct.

Non Fatal Shooting on Salem St in Detroit

Detroit Police received a call from one of the local hospitals advising them of a victim with a GSW. The victim described the shooting scene as being on Salem St & Margareta. 6th Precinct.

Man Posing As Uber Driver in Downtown Detroit (Greek Casino)

2 females were picked up in the area of the Greektown Casino by a person posing as a Uber Driver. Both females escaped and this is the BOLO (Be On The Lookout) broadcast for that incident. Downtown Services.

Home Invasion Dispatch Audio

The victims B/F called 911 describing a call with his G/F. The B/F said the call ended abruptly with a scream and bark from the dog. He was unable to establish contact following the call. This is the dispatch audio detailing the incident. 8th Precinct.

Shooting on W 7 Mile

DPD received a report of a shooting @ W 7 Mile & Edinborough. The RP stated they found the victim with 2 GSW’s the the chest. 8th Precinct.
