Dispatch Audio: Shots Fired In Casco Township, St Clair County.

Homeowner Exchanges Shots With Intruder


Casco Township, St Clair County: On March 29 2022 at around 3:00AM, St Clair County Sheriff received a 911 call reporting shots fired on Palms Rd, north of Lindsey Rd in Casco Township. The 911 caller reported someone had entered his residence and attempted to shoot his wife. Dispatch audio suggests the homeowner; a registered CPL holder, exchanged shots with the intruder. No one inside the home was injured. It is unknown if the homeowner’s shots took effect on the intruder. Dispatch audio suggests the intruder fled the home after the shots were fired and fled northbound on Palms Rd towards Adair. No description of the intruder or vehicle was given.

Michigan State Police Investigating Suspicious Infant Death in Royal Oak Township

2 Month Old Infant Declared Dead

Suspicious Infant Death: 3/16 at 9:50 AM Location: 11000 W 8 Mile Rd. Royal Oak Twp.  (Baymont Inn Rooms 251 / 253)

Troopers were dispatched to a medical run of a 2-month-old not breathing. Troopers began CPR while Alliance EMS was still en route.

Troopers assisted with escorting Alliance EMS to Providence Hospital Southfield where the 2-month-old was declared dead on arrival. The cause of death has not been determined.

Detectives from the Special Investigation Section are working with troopers to determine if foul play is involved in this incident. Investigation is continuing.

WANTED: Detroit Police Looking To Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

Detroit’s West Side: DPD’s 2nd Precinct investigating an armed robbery, shots fired run on 3/15/2022 at the Valero Gas Station at 11611 Schaefer. DPD looking to ID a suspect for a Robbery Armed that occurred at a Project Green Light location.

Michigan State Police Locate Stolen Cabin In Northern Michigan

Meanwhile, in Northern Michigan:

KALKASKA COUNTY, MI. Michigan State Police Troopers from the MSP Houghton Lake Post have recovered the Up North Cabin that was reported on February 7, 2022 as stolen from County Road 571 in Cold Springs Township, Kalkaska County.

The 12 x 28 cabin was located on County Road 571 in Cold Springs Township. It was recently reported stolen. The theft occurred sometime between November 18, 2021, and December 16, 2021.

Through investigative leads and public tips, troopers located the cabin at a residence in Orange Township, Kalkaska County, on March 15, 2022. Troopers are continuing the investigation of at least two suspects believed to have participated in the theft of the cabin.

Video: Detroit Police Arrest Shots Fired Suspect On Detroit’s NE Side

Shots Fired Caught On Tape

via DPD’s 9th Precinct: Our 9th precinct patrol responded to a shots fired call where the suspect fled. A crime analyst from the 9th precinct Intelligence Unit acted fast and accurately to recover the video footage of the shooter and the suspect’s vehicle. Patrol was able to link the suspect vehicle license plate to an address in the area and made an arrest. Great work by investigators and the 9th precinct crime analyst on this arrest!
