
Detroit: January 16/17 2019 – Shots rang out in several areas of Detroit Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning. 3 shootings were recorded, 2 on Detroit’s west side and 1 in the east. Thankfully, it ‘appears’ that all three were non-fatal.
Pembroke & Faust Shooting

Detroit’s West Side: DPD Scouts responded to Pembroke & Faust last night on reports of a shooting. Officer’s found a victim with a GSW and Detroit EMS conveyed the victim to a local hospital.
Details were hard to come by on this one, but Detroit PD’s evidence techs were dispatched to the scene for a non-fatal shooting.
Coyle & Puritan Shooting

Detroit’s West Side: The second shooting took place in the area of Coyle & Puritan.
The victim was privately conveyed to Providence Hospital in Southfield. There, the victim told investigating officers that the shooting took place in the area of Coyle & Puritan.
Harding & E Warren Shooting

The third shooting took place in the 5th Precinct, Detroit’s east side. A 911 caller stated that his son had been shot in the 4500 block of Harding. Arriving officer’s found the victim with a GSW and reported a “good shooting” to dispatch.
‘Good Shooting” is just a term DPD uses to identify a confirmed shooting, that’s all it is, no shooting is a good shooting.
DEMS Medic 13 conveyed the victim to Detroit Receiving Hospital in an unknown condition.
