Dispatch audio of Detroit Fire’s 7th Battalion fighting a fire @ Green & Gould. This was the scene of the infamous photograph taken of firefighters celebrating the retirement of a beloved Fire Chief.
The audio is pretty much self-explanatory. It begins with Detroit Fire companies congratulating a beloved fire chief on his retirement from the Detroit Fire Department. Next in line is companies being dispatched to the scene. Eventually you can hear companies notifying Chief 7 of fire in the basement and attic.
