Suspect Victor Oliver Charged With Attempted Murder
Roseville, Mi Home Depot Shooting
Roseville, Mi: Roseville PD received notice of a confrontation at the Baymont Hotel @ 20675 13 Mile Rd at around 5:15PM Monday afternoon. Callers reported a black male was having some sort of confrontation on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
It sounds as if the suspect, a light skinned black male left the scene with 2 others and went towards the Home Depot @ 20500 13 Mile Rd.
Dispatch audio suggests a black male suspect was inside the home depot, brandishing a firearm near the check-out counters. Audio also suggests the suspect had a handgun pointed at his head.
Responding officers can be overheard shouting “shots fired, shots fired!” and “drop the gun, drop the gun”.
Roseville FD/Rescue reported the suspect had shot himself in the arm. Other reports indicate 2 Roseville PD officers fired on the suspect multiple times, striking him at least two times.
Reports state the suspect traded rounds with the Roseville PD, but thankfully no officers were injured in the confrontation.
In addition to the suspect in the Home Depot, 2 others were also taken into custody by the Roseville PD. Their relationship to the incident is unknown.
An employee of the Home Depot also complained of chest pain following the incident, EMS was dispatched.
No further information on this, so everything may change with time.
