DPD’s 7th Precinct 1027PM 7.24.24: DPD’s 7th Precinct responded to 535 Chene on reports of a shooting. Arriving units initially didn’t have a victim but discovered the victim shortly afterward. DEMS Medic 21 also responded.
DPD Scouts reported the shooter is a young B/M, 18yo, braids and tattoos on arm. Multiple units are now on scene, locking the area down.
DEMS Medic 21 conveyed 1 to a local hospital, post-haste.
Detroit’s NW Side 7.24.24: DPD’s 10th Precinct responded to the 4000 block of W Davison earlier this evening on reports of a shooting. Dispatch audio suggests a female of unknown age received a gunshot wound to the hand. DPD Evidence Techs were dispatched to process the scene of the shooting on W Davison and to the hospital where the victim was conveyed.
Detroit’s NE 6:00PM 7.24.24: DPD’s 9th Precinct is in the area of Bringard & Rex on Detroit’s NE side working a confirmed shooting. At least 1 person is shot. DPD is seeking 3 B/M’s last seen fleeing EB through yards from the scene. Scouts have the area locked up with a perimeter stretching blocks.
DFD’s Engine 58 (MFR) and EMS also responded.
Detroit’s 7th Precinct scouts responded to reports of a body in the street, shot, at Joseph Campau & Kirby Tuesday afternoon around 2:45PM. Arriving scouts confirmed the report and the area was locked up to preserve evidence. Detroit Fire’s Squad 3 and Superior Medic 65 also responded. Superior Medic 65 conveyed the GSW victim to a local hospital with 2 firefighters from Squad 3 on board. K9 has been requested to the shooting scene. Expect a large police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
Detroit Police Scout from the 8th Precinct responded to 23321 8 Mile at around 1:15PM on reports of a shooting. Dispatch audio suggests a female was shot in a nearby parking lot. GSW victim was privately conveyed to a local hospital by a friend/passerby prior to scouts arrival.
