Detroit Police, Fire & Severe Weather Incidents
Detroit’s NE Side 9:30PM 7.28.24: DPD’s 9th Precinct is working a shooting in the 19100 block of Goulburn x Lappin. DFD’s Engine 60 (MFR) and EMS also responded. DPD Scouts asked for Engine 60 to pull around asap. Engine 60 was then canceled by scouts after the GSW victim was privately conveyed to a local hospital. EMS was also canceled.
Detroit’s NE Side (3:43PM): Detroit’s 9th Precinct responded to Cadieux & Morang on reports of a shooting, CPR was in progress according to dispatch audio. Detroit Fire’s Engine 58 (MFR) and Rapid Response Medic 75 also responded. Upon arrival, Engine 58 reported continuing CPR on the victim. Rapid Response Medic conveyed 1 to St John Hospital with firefighters from Engine 58 assisting in CPR.

via DPD’s 9th Precinct: Our 9th precinct patrol responded to a shots fired call where the suspect fled. A crime analyst from the 9th precinct Intelligence Unit acted fast and accurately to recover the video footage of the shooter and the suspect’s vehicle. Patrol was able to link the suspect vehicle license plate to an address in the area and made an arrest. Great work by investigators and the 9th precinct crime analyst on this arrest!
Detroit’s NE Side 7:00PM: A DPD 9th Precinct Officer reported an officer involved shooting at approximately 7:00PM Thursday evening. The incident took place at Conner & Wade on Detroit’s NE side. The officers shots took effect and the suspect is down.
DEMS Medic 13 responded and conveyed the wounded suspect to St John Hospital. The suspects condition is unknown at this time. No officers appear to be injured. The area has been locked down for the investigation.

Detroit’s NE Side 600PM October 31 2021: Detroit Police’s 9th Precinct is investigating a shooting in the 19100 block of Hamburg. Dispatch audio suggests Detroit Police officers are looking for an older model red Ford Taurus believed to be involved in the shooting. The vehicle was last seen NB on Hamburg towards Lappin. Detroit EMS also made the scene.
