24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.
Precinct: 5th Precinct
Location: 1300 block of Coplin
Time: 12/26/16 1:25 p.m.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
The 55 year old male victim was getting into his parked blue 2004 Chrysler Sebring, when he observed an older model red Cadillac pull next to his vehicle. As the victim began to run, shots were fired, striking the victim in the body. He was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
WANTED:
Suspect – Four Black males, armed.

Location: 11000 block of Patton
Time: 12/26/16 6:50 p.m.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
The 35 year old male victim was walking towards his porch when an older model red Ford Explorer pulled up. Suspect # 1 exited the vehicle and struck the victim then produced a weapon and fired a shot, striking the victim in the body. Suspect # 2 went through the victim’s pockets and stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
WANTED:
Suspect # 1 – Black male, mid 30’s, dark complexion, wearing all gray, armed
Suspect # 2 – Black male, driver of the older model Red Ford Explorer.
