Vehicle Strikes Parade In Waukesha Wisconsin
Several People Killed & Injured During Parade
Waukesha, Wisconsin 21 November 2021: Waukesha Police were dispatched to Frame Park at around 4:30PM on reports of a fight involving knifes. A reserve police officer was approached at Hartwell & White Rock and given the information by witnesses, he then relayed the information to dispatch. Officer arrived at the location given and found nothing.
Soon afterward officers reporting a speeding maroon Ford Escape speeding WB on Main from White Rock heading towards a Christmas parade in Downtown Waukesha. Moments later officers manning the parade route reported multiple people struck and required multiple medical personnel to the scene. One officer on the scene stated he had fired on the suspect vehicle with his service weapon.
Video, below, shows the red SUV plowing through parade goers, seemingly swerving to strike those in its immediate vicinity.
Officers reported a description of the suspect and the suspect vehicle’s last location southbound on West Ave from W Main. The vehicle was described as a red Ford Escape with heavy front end damage, bearing a license plate of ADP for the first three letters, a complete plate was not provided. The suspect was described as Black or Hispanic. A later description stated the suspect as being a light skinned Black male with dreads.
Officers discovered the vehicle in the 300 block of Maple Ave with the damage described and a bullet hole in the windshield. Items inside the vehicle led to the suspect according to dispatch audio. Dispatch audio also suggests at least 3 subjects, male Blacks, fled from the scene SB on Maple.
Suspect Taken Into Custody
It appears as if officers from an outside agency discovered the suspect in the 500 block of Elizabeth after; according to dispatch audio, he was seen knocking on doors in the neighborhood. Dispatch audio also suggests he was complaining of shoulder pain at the time of detention. The suspect matched the description gathered from inside the vehicle. There were reports of other subjects looking through windows and trying doors on Dunbar. A perimeter was established by officers in a bid to locate the remaining suspects.
The suspects name was captured on audio but has been edited out until it’s confirmed by official sources. There is information/photo matching the description caught on audio circulating the Internet at the time of this writing.

Update: The City of Waukesha is reporting 5 dead and over 40 injured in this mass casualty event.

At this time, we can confirm that 5 people are deceased and over 40 are injured. However, these numbers may change as we collect additional information. Many people have self-transported to area hospitals. The Police Department has the person of interest in custody.
