Non Fatal Shooting, Jane Ave & Park Dr

Detroit’s East Side: A shooting occurred earlier this morning on Detroit’s east side. DPD’s 9th Precinct were dispatched to the 12000 block of Jane in the early am on reports of a person shot.

Responding officers found 1 shot and received information there might be more victims elsewhere. Officer’s made a forced entry into a residence not far from the shooting scene in the 12600 block of Jane looking for additional victims, dispatch audio suggests none were found.

Detroit Police evidence techs responded to both residences and processed the scenes. No information on the victim, the victim’s condition or suspects are known at this time.
