Location: N I-75 FWY near Holbrook.

The Detroit Regional Communication Center was notified by a male caller who said his car was shot at. On scene investigation revealed that the caller stated that while traveling north the suspect driver, in a blue pick up, pulled up along next to him and shot at him one time and then drove away. The bullet struck the callers car. There were no reported injuries. The motive for the shooting has not been determined. The Investigation continues.

Location: S/B Lodge Fwy and Wyoming Ave.

The Detroit Regional Communication Center was notified of a traffic crash and one of the parties involved was at the gas station located at Hamilton and Glendale, city of Highland Park. On scene investigation revealed that the driver stated they were in a minor crash on Seven Mile Road near Lodge Fwy with a silver passenger car.

Both drivers exchanged words and then they became involved in a road rage incident that went onto the freeway. As the drivers were southbound on the Lodge Fwy, the driver of the silver car shot at the caller. None of the shots hit the vehicle and there were no reported injuries. Investigation continues.
